easyTXTR is the product of several conversations that all came together one night over drinks at one of our favorite establishments. As most happy hour sessions tend to go, topics migrated frequently, but included brainstorming new ways to help a restauranteur-friend of ours increase business. Since we are restaurant patrons as well as entrepreneurs, we started kicking around ideas that we, as customers, would like. This led to a lively discussion about cell phones and how cool it would be to receive timely announcements of happy hour specials (appropriate, given our setting at the time) or unique inside offers for loyal customers. While the many opportunities were obvious, our friend pointed out one not-so-small drawback – there was no quick, easy way to send these messages out and he is too busy running a restaurant to send out hundreds of text messages. Aha! Sometimes the ideas just fall in your lap. With a keen understanding of online and mobile technology, we started piecing the puzzle together. We knew our solution would have to be easy to navigate and relatively inexpensive to use. We also knew it would have to offer some reporting system to show proof of delivery. Having achieved these same objectives with other websites, we set about creating the world’s easiest mobile marketing platform.

We’re pretty proud of what we’ve created. And we feel even better about being able to help business owners communicate with their customers in a whole new way.
